Jane Donlin

Jane Donlin is a slow-maker inspired by stitching, spinning, weaving, dyeing and concerned with questions of sustainability in the Anthropocene. Her work is intrinsically linked to walking, collecting, reading, contemplating. Play and experimentation with thread, fibre and collected materials are central to her work as are supporting relationships between other makers.

Jane has shown her work in numerous art exhibitions, including at remix in 2011 at the Art Gallery of Western Australia. In 2016, she co-created the stitched work of The State of WA’s Coat of Arms, Supreme Court’s Ceremonial Court, David Malcolm Justice Centre, Perth.
