Nandi Chinna

Nandi Chinna is a Kimberley-based activist and poet who has published poetry in a number of journals and anthologies including Love and Impulse: Maths and Chemistry Poems. The Science Made Marvellous Project (The Poets Union Inc, 2010), Antipodes: Poetic Responses (Phoenix Education, 2011), Blue Dog, The Weekend Australian and Urthona. Her collections of poetry are Our Only Guide is Our Homesickness (Five Islands Press, 2007), and How to Measure Land (Picaro Press, 2010).

Her latest poetry book, The Future Keepers (Fremantle Press 2019) was shortlisted for the 2020 Prime Ministers Literary Award, and Highly Commended for the Victorian Premiers Prize 2020. She contributed to the art text clearinghouse project with Lethologica Press. Her poetry is featured in birdlife (Lethologica Press, 2011) and We Must Get Together Some Time (Lethological Press, 2021)
